Giftly Site "New Look"

The project focuses on enhancing the overall user experience and visual appeal of Giftly, a platform for personalized digital gift cards. The objective is to modernize the website's interface, improve navigation for both gift givers and recipients, while maintaining the brand's core functionality and purpose.

In previous design, Giftly only focus on using the branding colors and theirs color variations

With new design, we use some pastel colours for surface to emphasize the content and make the website looks appealing.

Buttons & Cards

In the earlier design, most containers, buttons, and cards featured sharp edges, subtle borders, and gray backgrounds, resulting in a somewhat rigid and traditional aesthetic.

With the new approach, we incorporated rounded corners, removed the borders and gray backgrounds, and introduced shadows with a predominantly white base. This approach adds a sense of elevation to the elements, creating a cleaner, softer, and more approachable interface.

Imagery & Illustration

Imagery & Illustration

In the enhanced interface, we incorporates vibrant illustrations paired with engaging imagery to effectively convey messages, replacing the text-heavy approach of the original layout. Additionally, we introduced seasonal themes, such as Mother/ Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and Christmas, to create a festive atmosphere that resonates with buyers and encourages purchase decisions.

Iconography

In earlier approach, the design have prioritized functionality & development speed over enhancing visual appeal with icons. After operating for a considerable time, we revisited the website to refresh its look and enhance the user experience.

 

By incorporating iconography, we’ve improved usability with clear visual cues and streamlined navigation. Consistent and well-crafted icons now align with the overall design language, making the interface more intuitive, visually engaging, and accessible to a diverse user base.

Gift Card

Over the years, the design of Giftly gift cards has evolved significantly, showcasing a shift from a simple and formal style in 2022 to a more vibrant and decorative aesthetic in 2023. By 2024, the design emphasizes branding with logo masking and a thematic approach, such as featuring specific food categories, making the cards visually engaging and tailored to users' interests.
